Start with drop, not just the bed’s name
Drop is the amount of blanket that hangs over each side when it is centred on the mattress.
The arithmetic is simple:
(blanket width − mattress width) ÷ 2 = drop per side
Measure across the mattress itself, not the bed frame.
The 3 sizes
150 × 200 cm
The smallest of the 3. It will give you more drop on a narrower mattress and sit closer to the edges on a wider one.
180 × 220 cm
The middle size. It gives you more width and length than 150 × 200 cm without going all the way to the largest option.
200 × 230 cm
The largest size, with the most width and length of the 3. It may suit you if you want more overhang or share the blanket.

Which one, for whom
If you sleep alone
You may be comfortable with less drop than someone sharing the blanket. Measure your mattress and decide how much fabric you want hanging at the sides.
If you share the bed
You may prefer more width so there is more blanket available on both sides of the bed.
If you want different amounts of coverage or warmth
A larger blanket gives you more room to adjust the coverage on each side. If 2 people want very different things from their bedding, separate blankets are another option.
2 things that can change the answer
Mattress depth
A taller mattress changes how far the blanket hangs down the side of the bed. If side coverage matters to you, measure the mattress height as well before choosing.
Length
Check the blanket length as well as the width. If you like the blanket pulled higher toward your shoulders, look at how much length that leaves at the foot of the bed.
Common questions
Should I just size up to be safe?
A larger size gives you more coverage. For a neat fit, measure your bed; for room to spread out, allow for a little extra drape.
Does it need to match my duvet cover?
No. Abri is used on its own, so you do not need to match its dimensions to a duvet cover.
What if I am between 2 sizes?
If you want more overhang, lean toward the larger size. If you prefer the blanket closer to the edges of the mattress, lean toward the smaller one. Mattress depth and whether you share the blanket may also affect your choice.
Is the weight different between sizes?
All 3 sizes share the same light, summer-weight build. Choose the dimensions that give you the coverage you want.
